American Zen has morphed mutated evolved and spawned many other bands and careers.

Gypsy Knights of American Zen have gone on to bands such as, Chicago Transit Authority, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Eagles, Dianna Ross, and many movie soundtracks including, "Desperado."

In 2009, The Hippy Coyote will tour without American Zen and depend upon the Gypsy Knights scattered around ther globe to come to his aid and fill in during concerts and radio shows.

"I'd like to find some really good FOLK ROCK BANDS that can play my American Zen albums,"
explains Coyote, "I'm really hoping to find some bands that can sound like American Zen. I would love to cut an album with a band again, or record a LIVE CONCERT ALBUM... Ah... so much music and so little time."
